This agreement, called the End User License Agreement (EULA), is a legal agreement between Charlie Le Maignan and the Licensee. The agreement governs the terms of use of the Font Software and the design of the Fonts. Font Software refers to the design of the Fonts and all typographic elements that are contained in the Font Software. It also includes all bitmap and/or outline representations of typeface and typographic elements created by or derived from the Font Software. The Font Software can be used in any media, printed materials, electronic documents, artwork, web services, or any other material associated with the product now or in the future.
There are 3 different licenses to send us some love. You get the license package you selected at checkout.
TRIAL 💛 Allows the commissioned designer/design agency to test free of charge, including the presentation, proposal, or pitch of a project to the client/end customer. Limited glyph set, no kerning, no feature.
COMMERCIAL 💛💛 Use the font for your commercial projects. You remain the owner of your copy and only user.
LOGO & CORPORATE 💛💛💛 When does this applies? If the font is use as a logo in commercial project. Or in the case your client needs to use the font without you later on as a brand asset. What does it mean? Your client needs to own a license himself, and you as well. This effectively doubles the price but you should split this with your client.
ℹ️ By buying a license you get Incremental Updates up to v.1.99 for free. Once v.2.0 is released, you will have to purchase the new version.
STUDENT USE Student discount is available, please inquire via email. Students may use trial fonts for their student work, and may showcase them in their learning environment or public portfolio with a credit for the typeface used and a mention of Charlie Le Maignan as the type designer. However, trial fonts may not be used for paid work. If your work will be part of a book for sale you need to buy a license.
GRANT OF LICENSE After paying the fee that can't be refunded, Charlie Le Maignan lets you use the Font Software in a way that can't be shared, sold, or given away. You can use the Font Software only as explained in this Agreement. Using the Font Software in any other way is not allowed.
MODIFICATIONS You cannot modify the font itself, but you can alter its appearance using a graphic design software.
SERVER USE The font cannot be installed or used on a server that allows public access through the internet or other network systems, whether internal or external.To use on a server and generate dynamic documents without limitation please contact us at [email protected]
THIRD-PARTY USE You are not allowed to share the font with anyone except for a printer or manufacturer working on the execution of a project covered by your license. They are not permitted to use the font for any other purpose.
PROHIBITED USE Using the font in any NFT is prohibited without our prior written permission.
DISCLAMER Charlie Le Maignan is not responsible for any damage caused by misuse of the digital font by the end user or third parties. Charlie Le Maignan can change this End User License Agreement at any time without warning, to account for future commercial and technical changes.
